Our Hood Cleaning Process in McKinney, TX
Every visit follows the same four steps so your kitchen is clean, documented, and inspection-ready. Here's exactly what happens before, during, and after we show up.
1. Inspect & Protect
- Before
- We confirm your NFPA 96 frequency, lock the crew and time window, and send a reminder before the visit.
- During
- We walk the full system, photo-document current condition, and lay protection over your cook line, floors, and equipment before any water or degreaser goes down.
- After
- You receive a pre-clean condition record with photos and the frequency applied to your account.
2. Deep Degreasing
- Before
- We shut down and cool the line with your GM so the system is safe to open.
- During
- Hood canopy, baffles, plenum, full horizontal and vertical ductwork, and the rooftop upblast fan are degreased to bare metal — the NFPA 96 standard for a compliant clean.
- After
- The full exhaust path is clean from the cook line to the roof, not just the visible hood.
3. Polish & Detail
- Before
- Protection stays in place while we finish the visible surfaces.
- During
- We detail the canopy exterior and front edge, degrease the surrounding cook line and walls, and clean up the workspace so the kitchen looks inspection-ready, not just functional.
- After
- The hood is visibly clean to a health walk-through and the area is left tidy.
4. Photos & Service Sticker
- Before
- Nothing — this step is the documentation that closes out the visit.
- During
- We apply a dated service sticker to the hood and capture before/after photos of every area cleaned.
- After
- You receive a photo report listing each area cleaned, the NFPA 96 frequency applied, and the technician's name — ready to hand to a fire marshal, health inspector, or insurance carrier.
What documentation you receive
Every visit ends with the same paperwork package so you never have to chase us for proof of compliance.
